Batting first Vignan Jyothi posted 67 runs for loss of 6 wickets in their stipulated 12 overs – while Kiran (19 runs) and Rahul (16 runs) shined for VJIT; Ramki struck 3 blows for just 13 runs to help JNTU-H restrict opponents for a modest total. In response, Murali (28 runs) and Meghnath (25 runs) helped winners achieve the target, while the solitary wicket of JNTU-H was claimed by Sidhu who gave away 4 runs.In second match played today, K G Reddy Engineering College defeated Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Technology by 6 wickets. Batting first, JNIT was bowled out for a meager total of 49 runs in 11.4 overs. In response KG Reddy College scored 50 runs for loss of 4 wickets in just 6 overs.
